Upcoming Events
I am excited to share some information about ongoing and upcoming workshops and events. Please see more information below:
I offer a regular Plant Allies for Women group, an opportunity to deepen connection with local plants through sensory and intuitive practices - see more below. I will also be running a Women's Herbs for Health series on Thursdays evenings in June-July this year, see more details below.
I am excited about our Earth Medicine Collective Herb Garden Fundraiser event, happening on 1st August. I am grateful to live and work within the beautiful grounds of Bowden House Community, Totnes. There are many herb beds in and around the vegetable gardens, in the walled garden and the forest garden. There is new enthusiasm from us and the herb gardening volunteers to clear weeds and plant more herbs. This will create a more diverse learning environment as well as resource for making herbal medicines. Both Peter Neumann and myself run workshops and courses and love to inspire others about herbal medicine and offer a space to connect more deeply with plants as beings and allies. See below for more information on what we are offering and how to book your place.
Herb Gardening Volunteer Afternoons: Please come a long and get to know the plants through weeding, planting and beautifying the space with us at Earth Medicine Collective, Bowden House, Totnes.
Herbs for Women's Health Series

This series offers the opportunity to deeply explore women’s health and its relationship to herbalism. The workshops are designed to be accessible and useful to all interested in women’s health, whatever stage of life you are in, and when possible, sessions will be tailored to the interests of the group.
Workshops will be a mix of theory and practical herbalism. Each session will involve connecting with the herbs through sensory and intuitive practices, diving into a specific health topic, meeting relevant plants and getting to know their actions and uses. Through demonstrations and recipes you will be shown how to make your own healing remedies, and during the series there will be the opportunity to make two herbal remedies to take home. We hope that through this series you can feel more empowered in supporting your own health and wellbeing.
You are welcome to book onto individual sessions or join the whole series at a discounted rate. Currently booking is open for those wanting to book the to attend all the sessions. Later it will be open to book any individual sessions that still have spaces. You can join a waitlist if interested in attending just some of the sessions (see link below).

Plant Journey to Yarrow with Peter Neumann (MNIMH)
Traditional plant healers met with the plants they used, and let those herbs be their guide. Similarly Peter will guide you in a technique he learnt from the late Eliot Cowan to meet the being of Yarrow, spending time in the "Living Room of the Plant" - outside, with colours and paper if desired - and then returning indoors to participate in a drum journey to meet the spirit of the plant. [Peter reserves the right to change the chosen plant but most likely it will be yarrow, abundant at this time of year].
Peter practices from Totnes Natural Health Centre and his herb course can be found on www.plymouthherbalist.com/herbal-wisdom-course/
Herbal Energetics with Annie Gardner (MURHP)
An experiential workshop exploring the diverse energetic qualities and actions of plants, how the different tastes and energetics relate to the elements and how they interact with our individual constitutions, physiology, mind and emotions.
This is an introductory workshop which aims to give you a felt sense of the different qualities and actions inherent in plants through specific examples. You will get to taste, touch, smell and sense these different qualities and also see how their appearance can give us clues about their actions and indications.
Annie practices from Dreaming Earth Apothecary (Bowden House, Totnes), offering herbal medicine, bodywork and workshops locally.
Tales from the Story-garden with Laura Salmon
Tales from the Story-garden are grown out of the good Devon soul and woven with plant magic! Take a walk with me and step through the Portal of your imagination. Together we can meet the land around us with wakened senses and discover our place in the Web of Life.

I am so excited to offer this immersion with Rose with Turiya Ma this July!
Join us for a deeply nourishing and transformative workshop where we journey with the Rose — as plant, spirit, and guide.
Held in sacred sisterhood, this gathering is an invitation to soften, open, and remember the ancient wisdom that lives within your heart and womb.
Led by Rose Path Guide Turiya Ma and Herbalist and founder of Dreaming Earth Apothecary Annie Gardner, we will explore the Rose through physical, energetic, and spiritual lenses.
Through embodiment practices, gentle ritual, and sensory exploration, you’ll come into deeper relationship with this sacred plant and all she has to teach.

Growth

I will be offering A Dream Lodge to Meet Ladie's Mantle a beautiful plant ally for women.
In circle together we will call in Mugwort and make a Womb Balm in sacred ritual
"This gathering is not just an event—it’s a return to the village. It’s a heartfelt call to lay down your armour and remember the medicine that lives within you, nurtured by the legacy of our grandmothers, the ancient ones. In this sacred space, every woman is invited to step into her power, weaving her sorrows into golden threads of connection and hope."
"Step onto this sacred soil and reawaken the wild essence within you as we, as women, rekindle our profound connection with the Earth. Here, we embrace her wisdom and rediscover the art of living in harmony, reestablishing our sacred bond with our Earth Mother and relearning the dance of reciprocity. Because Medicine Woman is more than just a gathering; it's a journey of self-discovery and remembrance. As we immerse ourselves in the sisterhood and connect with our greatest mother, the Earth, we open the door to a world of endless possibilities.
Join us in reclaiming the wisdom of our ancestors. Step into the circle, reawaken your wild essence, and reconnect with the earth and with one another. Together, we will weave a tapestry of healing, empowerment, and love—reminding us that we are not alone, but a vibrant, living collective that is creating a herstory to remember."
Lucy Wylde, Founder of Medicine Woman Gathering.
I love being part of this camp, creating beauty and bringing in the plants through journeys, invitations to go out and meet a plant on the land and by weaving them into the ceremony.
Immersed in stunning nature, deep in the wilds of Dartmoor National Park, we’ll come together to connect with the land, the solidarity of sisterhood and the spirit of our voices. Calling on the depth and wisdom of the dark moon to take us inwards, allow what is alive in us to move through our voices and bodies and help us remember our wild nature as women, rooted in the earth and the cycles of nature. In ritual we will weave the threads of our longings together, moving and voicing in circles on the land and around the fire.
