I am excited to be hosting Samara Hawthorn, here at The Angel Hall for her day workshop:
Holding the Bones
15th February 2025
10am-4.30pm
The Angel Hall, Totnes
Join Samara Hawthorn for a deeply grounding and nourishing day of Holding the Bones, a lay practice of woman to woman hands on holding, tending to that which we carry in our hearts and the bowls of our pelvises. Landing deeper in our bones in co-regulation with the earth, we hold ourselves and each other with the tenderness of our own two hands. Reweaving threads of communal holding and healing, this is community care in action.
This offering is born out of Kimberley Ann Johnson’s work Mothering the Bones, which she gifted to Samara and the local community when she visited this summer. Listen to Kimberley share about Mothering the Bones in Pembrokeshire on episode 230 of her podcast Sex Birth Trauma.
The day will include hands on work around the pelvis (fully clothed and no internal work).
Please bring a dish to share for lunch.
To book this event, please see below. Cost £75 (£25 deposit and £50 in cash on the day).

Plant Allies for Women
Come and meet seasonal plant allies in a small group setting and experience practices that cultivate ways of knowing that increase your sensitivity and intuitive capacity. We will be listening to what the plants want to share with us and deepen our sense of reciprocity with them.
This is such a magical time to spend time with the plants in this way - as they emerge from out of the winter slumber and help us to feel our own emergence, our wonder at the miracle of life returning and a renewed sense of possibility as we feel the call of Spring.
We will be outdoors (indoor space also available if needed).
Open to all women, regardless of experience.
We will include some of the following practices:
-
Spending time with the plants where they grow
-
Coming into relationship with them through your senses
-
Journeying
-
Embodiment practices.
-
Creative expression, including drawing/journaling.
-
Sharing circle/dyads.
Time and dates: 10-12.15pm, Wednesdays, February 25th, March 18th, April 1st & 22nd.

I am so excited to offer this immersion with Rose with Turiya Ma this July!
Join us for a deeply nourishing and transformative workshop where we journey with the Rose — as plant, spirit, and guide.
Held in sacred sisterhood, this gathering is an invitation to soften, open, and remember the ancient wisdom that lives within your heart and womb.
Led by Rose Path Guide Turiya Ma and Herbalist and founder of Dreaming Earth Apothecary Annie Gardner, we will explore the Rose through physical, energetic, and spiritual lenses.
Through embodiment practices, gentle ritual, and sensory exploration, you’ll come into deeper relationship with this sacred plant and all she has to teach.

I will be offering A Dream Lodge to Meet Ladie's Mantle a beautiful plant ally for women.
In circle together we will call in Mugwort and make a Womb Balm in sacred ritual
"This gathering is not just an event—it’s a return to the village. It’s a heartfelt call to lay down your armour and remember the medicine that lives within you, nurtured by the legacy of our grandmothers, the ancient ones. In this sacred space, every woman is invited to step into her power, weaving her sorrows into golden threads of connection and hope."
"Step onto this sacred soil and reawaken the wild essence within you as we, as women, rekindle our profound connection with the Earth. Here, we embrace her wisdom and rediscover the art of living in harmony, reestablishing our sacred bond with our Earth Mother and relearning the dance of reciprocity. Because Medicine Woman is more than just a gathering; it's a journey of self-discovery and remembrance. As we immerse ourselves in the sisterhood and connect with our greatest mother, the Earth, we open the door to a world of endless possibilities.
Join us in reclaiming the wisdom of our ancestors. Step into the circle, reawaken your wild essence, and reconnect with the earth and with one another. Together, we will weave a tapestry of healing, empowerment, and love—reminding us that we are not alone, but a vibrant, living collective that is creating a herstory to remember."
Lucy Wylde, Founder of Medicine Woman Gathering.
I love being part of this camp, creating beauty and bringing in the plants through journeys, invitations to go out and meet a plant on the land and by weaving them into the ceremony.
Immersed in stunning nature, deep in the wilds of Dartmoor National Park, we’ll come together to connect with the land, the solidarity of sisterhood and the spirit of our voices. Calling on the depth and wisdom of the dark moon to take us inwards, allow what is alive in us to move through our voices and bodies and help us remember our wild nature as women, rooted in the earth and the cycles of nature. In ritual we will weave the threads of our longings together, moving and voicing in circles on the land and around the fire.
