Closing the Bones Ceremony (2 Hours)

Service Description

Please book a phone/zoom call before booking the ceremony, so that we can do an intake form. The closing the bones ceremony usually takes 2 hours to complete, though I can adapt it to make it a little shorter if that feels too long (minimum 1.5 hrs). If you choose additional extras, it may take a little longer. If you want more than one, I suggest booking the shorter 1hr 15 min session, then booking this one afterwards. I charge a sliding scale because I want to make it accessible to those who would otherwise not be able to afford it. Please pay the standard or supporter fee if you can as this will make it more available to those on low incomes. If longer than 2 hours (with any of the added extras), you pay the hourly rate for the length of time we need to complete the ceremony. I can give you an estimate beforehand. I try and keep the cost as low as I can, if you can pay the higher amount (or more) than this supports those unable to afford this amount and makes it available more widely. Let me know if you can’t afford the lowest amount and I will see if I have enough in the ‘pot’ to subsidise the cost. More than one is recommended if you are postpartum and so I can offer you a discounted amount if your booking more than one. We can also do a shorter 1 hr session and then do the whole ceremony version later. If travel time is longer than 10 minutes, I may need to add an additional cost. The closing the bones ceremony can take place in my space at Bowden House, Totnes.
